In Norse Mythology, Nanna is a goddess associated with the god Baldr. She is the wife of Baldr and the couple produced a son, the god Forseti. After Baldr's death Nanna either dies of grief before her body was put on Baldr's funeral pyre, or she enters the pyre to be with her husband. In Helheim, Baldr and Nanna are reunited again.
