Forseti is the Norse god of Justice and Reconciliation. His name translated is to mean "the presiding one" in Old Norse Mythology. In modern Icelandic Mythology, it translates to "president". He is a member of the Aesir. His father is the god Baldr and his mother is known as Nanna . He resides in a palace called Glitnir, which means "shining", referring to its silver ceiling and golden pillars which radiated light that such could be seen from a great distance. His palace is often used as a court room, and all those who come before him leave reconciled. He is not featured in any major myths but appears in small parts.
