In Norse Mythology, Asgard (meaning "enclosure of the Aesir") is one of the Nine Worlds and is home of the Aesir tribe of gods. It is surrounded by an incomplete wall attributed to a Hrimthurs riding the stallion Svaðilfari The god Odin and his wife, Frigg are the rulers of Asgard. One of Asgard's well known locations is Valhalla, in which Odin rules. Asgard is a realm where the important decisions of the gods are made. In records from long ago, Vikings would sacrifice to Asgard on Thursday, the sacred day of Thor. Asgard also contains the rainbow bridge, Bifröst, witch connects to all the Nine Worlds through Yggdrasil.
